Very simply, I do believe that any undertaking in life is worth doing. The reason for this is that every experience, thought, or bit of learning will not only enhance your life but will probably be used at some point. There are many times that I have taken "useless" classes only to find that years later they came in very handy in my personal life or professional life.

If one lives a "well rounded" life you can expect to use most if not all of your learned knowledge at some point.
