Re: Why is Heavy Metal not respected?

OK two things

1 the overall message can turn people off from it viewing it as just screaming and they arn't really singing ( but do you really think any singer songwritter could do that)

2 the first impression is enough to turn off anyone it really takes a person with an open mind to truly appreciated it as music (and someone who may have some anger problems)

personally i don't really like most metal but it doesn't mean i don't appreciate as music
