Is Privacy an Illusion? Jonathan Zittrain Weighs in…



Jonathan Zittrain is a leading scholar of Internet law, co-founding the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and now serving as a professor at the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford. His new book, “The Future of the Internet and How to Stop It” presents a grim picture of the future in which governments and corporate interests have increasing control of the flow information across the web. When he joined us on Big Think, we asked him what this means for privacy and whether it will even exist in the future. Here’s what he said:

great vid post.
we live is a society inflicted with MIPS
a Media Induced Psychosis.
Tech Banking is driving the machine to manage the man.

the neighbor will “eventually” get it, after they come for them… but the machine wont get it.

not until were gone.

robots.txt. example correct?
Google will not respect anything when its traded at Yahoo Levels.. in 5 years.
