Re: What is the fundatmental human need beyond materiality?

I perceive the natural curiosity in humans as the single need which has got to be fulfilled beyond the material needs.What marks out humans from animals is curiosity and a human cannot rest without something to explore ,discover and carry forward .The creative transformation somebody has talked about becomes necesary only because of the compelling need to explore the  world and make it a better place for the human species to live and in the process discover the destructive tendencies within the human species itself with a view to eliminating them to bring about a better world.
