where can one find faith?

if all religion is illogical or, at the very least, inconsistent, yet one desperately wants to believe in something to fill some sort of metaphysical void, how does one overcome his or her predilection for rationality in order to embrace fantasy?

How can I commit to a religion, when it just doesn't make any sense?
