How were you taught to allow yourself to be amazed?

Uploaded on 03/30/2008

Bryan, I like your question and self-perspective.

One might additionally ask,” How were you taught to allow yourself to be amazed"? If from the beginning of each of our lives we were guided and allowed to retain the first-round amazement (it is estimable) we experience, how profoundly improved and/or evolved would human interaction and accomplishment be?

As many were not taught the importance of such, how then have individuals regained or re-invented their potential for being humble enough, to be amazed by life?

For myself, I had to, and continue too, realize what was missing or not clear with the intentions of my 'upbringing.' I feel very fortunate now, to more readily allow myself the ability to be amazed, by as much of what I encounter, as I can.
