A lot of people just don't seem to care much about how important this research is, or how much we can benefit from it as a species. Scientific knowledge passed down to the next generation is key.

There was a sign in the genetics area of the museum of science and industry, (Chicago, IL) that stated: "90% of the world is unaware of how quickly the understanding of genetics has progressed"

We need to become more optomistic toward actual possibilities, and less optomistic toward ancient beliefs.
