I think an us vs them philosophy will be the downfall of Ameirca. This is such a self centered question. This is the world wide web people will be responding from arournd the globe. One thing about the chinese is that they are great game players. They have invested heavily in the United States, even if thier country being communist probably doesnt care about currentcy. I think the abusive and intollerant attitude tward communism lead them to prepair to take us down. We may have sown the seeds to our demise. To accept anything as absolute is a baligerent mistake. Capitalism has been presented in the United States as the ulitimate and infalable entity, and that ignores the weaknesses of the system. If you want to run any system to its highest degree you must understand the stregths and weaknesses of the system. You have to play to your stregths which the states has done well. You also have to compensate for the weaknesses and this is an area where the States have failed misrably. The bad leadership and ignorence ot the States will be what leads the country to it's demise. That is if better leadership doesnt step forward. There is a light on the horizon. Barack Obama is one such great leader. Hillary will also be a good leader, and she will surround herself with good people. Both will be great leaders and give our country a chance. Let's just hope they are not too late.

Americas Current doubt about it's oncoming recession will be an important step in observing what will happen to america and how much China has Grown. This can be seen in the Australian market which has almost always been affected by the American market. In the past, if the American Market went down, then the Australian Market went down, if the American Market gained confidence then the Australian Market gained confidence. Things are changing however and it could just turn out that this fall of the market will NOT affect the Australian market as severly as the American one. of course it has already slumped in the last few months, but that is good because now we wait and see if the Asian Market will keep Australia up while America continues to fall. If Australia manages to saty up the Asia could very potentially be the downfall of the not so politically correct society we call USA, if Australia continues to fall with America and follow Americas market trends then America still has some fight left in it despite Chinas rise.

one thing is sure, America has already lost a large portion of it's economic dominance, and Australia is sitting on a dangerous and deteriorating wall between the two super powers.
