Shock sounds like a teenage trying to rationalise unfinished homework. Judging by the quality of the posting he might do better to concentrate on participating in his education before attempting a criticism of its content.

Ok, before you start degrading the elementary school system. Learn how to spell ridiculous.

It's not all "crap", that they teach. For instance basic principles like mathematics and English which have been taught to students for decades are more so correct.

I don't know about Christopher Columbus being a hero, because it sure wasn't taught in my school (along with the sun being the biggest star).

Yes I have learned or was taught a bunch of interesting facts that i didn't necessarily need. But I do not have any recollection of being taught a load of crap.

Plus, I'm sure you went to elementary school. Did you get taught a "load of crap"? Is your first basis of knowledge wrong?

Then again, this is my opinion. I have no right forcing you to believe that elementary schools are wrong. Just don't off your mouth blindly so quickly, without supporting yourself with relevant and reliable information.
