Old Infantry, I imagine the insurgents in Iraq pondered that question before taking up arms against the US invaders. "What should we do when the Americans invade our country, slaughter our people, without real cause or reason?".

Its one thing to fight wars when you're forced to, but to pursue wars without reason is stupid and immoral. Equally so is this thirst for war and blood and destruction that we have, and the celebration of soldiers as 'heroes' for going into someone else's nation and killing their people.

You do not really make a rational argument for your point of view.

Love of peace and hate of war are all well and good but what specifically do you propose to do when the enemy individual or the enemy army comes to slaughter you and yours?
