Andrew Cuomo in NY is now doing what should have been done years ago; he is suing insurance companies.

Insurance fraud does not take away the benefit of health care. As time goes on, the system can be modified. Prevention that comes through being insured is invaluable, for let's say, a pregnant woman. Just getting a multi vitamin and regular exams is a great start, I think. No. We must address the fact that in this country of ours, we have 40 plus people without easy access to health care. Insurance, is not necessary. Rather, we must address the fact that in this country of so-called democracy and fairness, not all people are currently being guaranteed the right to health and life. This creates a focus on profits. If the industry is left unregulated, how do we create a system that focuses on customer health in lieu of short-term profits? Without some sort of controls, I am not sure how we can fix a system that focuses mostly on profits, is an insurance based reactionary system instead of a preventative system, and does not allow for control by the user.
