I was a mexican illegal once. A wall will not stop us.
President Bush is wasting our money big time. According to a 2007 study by the Congressional Research Service, the fence could cost as much as $70 million a mile to build and maintain over the next 25 years. At 670 miles, that would run as high as $47 billion, which doesn't include the cost to acquire land. Ay..Caramba!

Dude wats the point of a wall if the president we have right now signed a bill that will erase the borders sometime this year or next year. so there is no point of a wall between the U.S and Mexico.

If illegal inmigration is a big problem, attack the problem where it is at. The problem isnt at the boarder, it is at where the employeers hire them at. If government was doing their job and They would go after the companies that hire them.

No, putting up a wall with guard towers and razor wire will send a message of hate to the Mexican people. If Mexicans want the American Dream,(just like the one we are trying to bring to the Middle East) then we should make it easier for them to get it. The United States is not a nation of hate.

Get rid of the incentives and rewards, and the illegal behavior will subside. No ID card, no great wall, just end the welfare state and free everything promise for illegal crossers. When you subsidize and reward illegal behavior, you get more of it.

A wall is only part of the solution. The invasion should be stopped. Children of illegals should not be deemed citizens of the US. Employers must hire Americans or be heavily fined. If there are no jobs for the illegals, most will go. The criminals among them (and there are many already in our jails) can be deported on ships to take them far from our borders.
