i agree, haven taken studio art in my first year of college, i can back it up that its probably more of a waste of time than dance.

I totally agree with Ms. Goddu. I believe dance must be taken seriously at the university level and she brings up a number of good points. The NY Times article is very enlightening, I definitely recommend reading it through.
