McCarthy is a regular at the Santa Fe Institute which is really pretty much a genius club and is constantly in touch with some pretty brilliant minds and is incredible smart himself. I would ask him all about where he thinks society is headed and judging by The Road, not in a good direction. I would then go on to ask him how things got so bad and how he thinks we can fix things. The man thinks about stuff like this for a living and writes books about it, I'd like to hear what he'd have to say. Bigthink Thu, 17 Jan 2008 04:42:51 +0100 http://www.bigthink.com/wisdom/2801/#1633
