Also, its not an attempt to explain the ultimate beginning of the universe, its just an explanation of what happened as far back as we are able to perceive given a lot of observations. Ive heard some interesting explanations from baby universes to colliding ten dimensional membranes. Its kind of impossible to know at this point. Basicaly this is just something I thought up and personaly kind of believe. Just imagine this being yourself with the math and knowledge to open a wormhole and create ur own universe, how would you control it? Bigthink Wed, 16 Jan 2008 10:34:43 +0100 http://www.bigthink.com/faith-beliefs/3830/#889 Comment on: if the big bang theory is true... http://www.bigthink.com/faith-beliefs/3830 I think that there is some theory that explains the origin of the original spec of energy that kicked off the big bang. But as I am no scientist I could tell you what that was. But as far as intelligent design is concerned, the universe is extremely chaotic and I can believe all this has come by random chance. Considering the size and the enormity of the universe it is possible that given enough space matter and time this could happen with out intelligent design. Also if you look at the rest of the galaxy and how many times this particular set of random events has not happened it seems more likely that we are just lucky. I just have a hard time believing that someone went to the trouble to make a flawed and messed up universe. Granted that would make the universe quite similar to the things our intelligence conceives. Anyway, thats my two cents.
