Perhaps linguistically. But to take your sceario, the feelings or attributes of this lone person still 'exist'! For example, this person may be totally content, happy, satisfied with his lone existence. He may find the flora nad fauna that surrounds him very appealing or comforting or stimulating. Are you saying that he isn't actually happy because sadness doesn't exist elsewhere? But what about the way he is feeling? Just because you can't define those feelings of happiness or enjoyment doesn't mean they are not there. You could say the same about him being energetic. Perhaps this lone person runs a lot, swims a lot, climbs a lot. Are you saying that he is not energetic because laziness doesn't exist elsewhere? And just because there is no one else to see his face doesn't mean he isn't handsome - does it? Therfore, I would argue that although this person cannot be described exactly, he is still very much embodying / personifying / living a variety of traits and behaviours. He exists and so has a self.
