How do we deal with Africa's oppressive governments? We can't invade them and remove their leaders, that would result in wars that nobody here wants to fight. We can't impose economic sanctions because that would be devastating on populations that are already severely impoverished. We can't encourage revolutions from within because history shows us that those just lead to more corrupt leaders. All the outside world can really do is try and send food to the starving and medicine to the sick and hope that improving health will give the people the ability to stand up for themselves.
