That means what ever you do in tha past would have be what hpapened initially because everything that happened in history would have lead up to you traveling to the past. And the slightest change would lead to countless paradoxi. A kind of a loop of cause and effect. <br /><br />Thers an interestin story by Stanislav lem a polish science fiction writer about a man set in charge of changing the past in order to meke the human race more sucesfull. So first they try to make the solar system habitable, but end ub burning mars and filling the moon with craters. Then they try to use evolution to create intelightnt beings but the members of the project end up compeating with one another and thats evolution survival of the fitest. And so on all of history as we know it is just another falw in this project which eventually leads to the project itself. Its is interesting because in effect in this story we created ourselves.
