Your comment is swollen with anti-corporate bias. Anyone can manipulate the law be they willing. All politicians are capable of selling out. Anyone who manipulates the law should be seen as a criminal. It is not only corporations that do this.

Politicians should be kept on a short leash so they don't become so powerful that they could control peoples lives. It is the responsibility of everyone to maintain the rule of law and to keep politicians in check.
