Make it seem like you are their friend, their colleague, or just some giddy customer service freak... meanwhile you are still assertive and you know when to say NO.<br /><br />It's a blend of of softness and hardness, the more balanced the blend is the more successful you will be. In the long term it's about honesty and integrity, I never lie and I close massive deals. Liars have ups and downs, good months and crap months, an Honest sales guy always has a good month.<br /><br />Sales is a numbers game, so don't get excited and don't get angry, just go with the flow and keep working.
