Consequently, we have some pretty rough highways at time. Since I live about 20 blocks from Kansas, many Kansas residents will come to Missouri for cheaper gas.<br /><br />I don't know why our government subsidizes the oil companies to the extent they do. It doesn't make sense for the government, which is cutting services (just ask an Iraq war veteran who's been at Walter Reed), when Exxon/Mobile has reported astronomical profits.
