My first instructors were the Southern Cali Conservatives mentioned in this video. They were big "pro-Shah" thinkers. It was very interesting to read more about the later ex-patriots who belonged to the revolution, but were not part of the Mullah group (Marxists, socialists, just anti-Shah democrats.) Many Americans should really do more reading on this and American involvement in Iran since the 1950's.
