No they aren't

Journalists (with a cap J) are educated in the history of journalism and trained in news gathering and news production methods. They're also supposed to give an objective account of whatever it is they're covering.

So where do bloggers fit in?

I'd compare them to pamphleteers, a throwback to earlier times in America.

I doubt if the bloggers are called as Journos...Journalism is much more than only Free Expression of Thoughts...
