On a more personal note, Im in a rural community so for me its a bonus as far as being able to buy my own system and produce my own power.. and the excess power I don't use goes back into the lines and the power company pays me...during the summer months when I don't need heat...the systems are roughly about $28 000.00 and still seem expensive to me but even at that price it pays for itself in about 9 years. Apparently these and the others you mentioned are successful enough that there are talks of putting wind farms in the ocean off the coast here. I think they would look better than the oil derricks we have and they're certainly more eco-friendly.<br /><br />Apparently Pres.
