I don't know about any censorship, but I've found it very difficult to find "comments". I've also posted a couple of questions that have seemed to have banished - one on world population and another asking if Bush is a war criminal.

Again, regret jumping gun, here, but a lot of the topics being discussed here are VERY serious, and some of the responses from other members are very disquieting, especially when they only serve to reinforce some of my opinions, concerning the establishment and America's War Machine. The powers that be would love to filter what we all see, think and hear. Instead, they stifle public education, cut out help programs for the poor and/or elderly, and pretty much keep the masses "in the dark" about their true motivations. Beta site.
Guess it reminds of my wonderful new PC with the even more wonderful OS Windows Vista.
Anyway, glad it was only this site's growing pains or slow server processors. I'm sure the real world movers and shakers have better things to do, than keep tabs on internet forums, anyway.
Things will get better, eventually.......

There is censorship at BigThink, but in my experience, it is SELF-CENSORSHIP.

I have posted some bitingly-sarcastic comments about the belief-in-God, and even questioned GWB's mental-state. All posts went through.

If I post something that is unacceptable to forum-members, I expect it to be either rated down or ignored. In addition, any member can report a post for remedial action.

well, what do you know? My responses magically re appeared, after this little rant. Don't know if someone caught what went wrong or corrected an error, but thank you. I hope it wasn't a glitch on my end, if so I can't say, but I take back my accusatory tone. As long as everyone's responses stay where they put them, free speech is still allowed on Big Think.
