To narrow down which authors inspire me is a daunting task, but I'll narrow it to down to two: Rumi, and James Allen (he wrote As a Man Thinketh). Allen's book was an early 20th century book essentially on positive thinking--you are what you think you are. Pretty powerful stuff!

I thought about reading into einsteins views on theology and philosophy, thanks for reminding me.

David Humes, A Treatise of Human Nature, i think is also a must read for any philosopher or deep thinker, especially if you consider yourself a skeptic.

kant was interesting but he makes it so hard to read

also a suprising philospy book-ALBERT EISTEINS- IDEAS AND OPNIONS- very underated book, would do well to teach his philosphy just as much as his science in school thses days, very overlooked book, a must read for anyone whoe enjoys reading philosphy
