Yes, new age prophets talk about this -- but thinkers such as John Dewey and Jurgen Habermas theorize about about our ability to know together what none of us could know alone. I wish we could all think and use the "conversation" model more fluently -- rather than the "instant umbrage" model that prevails here in the United States.
