Americans are STUPID of the facts that innocent people are being racially profiled and sent to Guantanamo Bay and tortured for 5 years and not given the right to an attorney. I don't know whether to blame this on a lack of education here or a LAZY attitude that Americans seem to be plagued with as they vote for creeps who lie to them ("family values, weapons of mass destruction, want every American to own a home"), rob them, and kill them without a conscience. Americans do not seem to want to know that they and others have basic human rights that our founding fathers wanted us to have. As long as we have a leader that says he is "born again" and has "family values" that is all that seems to matter in their narrow and benumbed minds. They can care less that their leader commits crimes against humanity, namely The Geneva Convention. After all, he has carte blanche in heaven as he IMAGINES he is "saved."

I WHOLLY DISAGREE

the democrats are so split they are beginning to hate each other and the republicans have elected a candidate they are unsure wether they can get behind or not,

also nobody should be foolish enough to believe the president is so powerful, i speak of things larger than the president, such as the federal bank, the super rich that make decisions that constantly effect the masses in such a way that while the masses are ignorant for the most part, the super powerful are constantly putting themselves in danger of waking a sleeping giant, that is the people, they lie dormant for now, but if the people get woken up, thats what leads to revolution, messing with the zeitgeist leads to revolution

I'm afraid your conclusion that revolution is an alternative to the rotten political state of the US is unfounded. The two party system is blindly supported by a huge majority of Americans, so we are likely to see the present mess continue indefinitely. Americans are not prepared to take up arms against our own government, although they have little hesitation about invading other countries.

Well, jesseakers, here is my opinion: The Republicans are the party of Big Business, and the Democrats are the party of Big Business. No one will 'unravel' these things publicly.

do you think theres any liklihood a democratic president would unravel these things publicly, things such as guantamo?

i hope and pray that we uncover these things, as much as i enjoy revolutions i prefer peace, things like this will only lead to revolution
