You are the first person to address the real issue!  What we call development and what human development should be are not the same thing.  If we are saying that the undeveloped countries should just start gobbling up resources this human population of ours will not last much longer!

Has the humans species reached it's carrying capacity? http://www.bigthink.com//5752 Bigthink Mon, 21 Jan 2008 20:00:50 +0100 http://www.bigthink.com//5752 What will happen to being "GREEN?" (when its un-cool) http://www.bigthink.com//5463 Al Gore did a good thing with his movie regarding education as well as easing people's fears by saying we can do simple things to stop global warming.  But we will need to do more to save the Earth from the mass extinction occuring due to habitat loss.
YOu are now considered green if you DRIVE a CAR!
Now to the main question.  People have said that it is fashoinable to be green now.  And in repsonse they insert "Well it can't hurt, it's helping the environment."  I say it can be harmful.  Production of green products is misleading, it is still destruction to creat production.  Also what happens to fads, when they become "un-cool?"  The fad dies and it becomes extremely "un-cool" to follow that fad any longer.  So what will happen to being "GREEN?"]]>
