It is a crucial part of our everyday lives. Our days are completely filled with music, from television ads, to movies, to cars driving by. Music is part of the human language. The real question is where music is headed. Has it been evolving, devolving, or is it just ups and downs? Has music progressed since the times of Bach, or since the jazz of Miles Davis? Or has it just changed, not for better or for worse, but just for a different focus, a different point to make?
