As promised, here are my results. Not really sure what to make of them--they seem more politically oriented than I would have imagined. Moreover, this definitely doesn't jobe with my own sense of self. It appears that I'm sort of morally indifferent, which I'd like to think isn't the case.

If anyone has any insights on how to interpret this, please let me know.

As part of Big Think's examination of morality in the public square, we've heard from a range of different figures from political theorist Michael Sandel to presumptive GOP Presidential nominee John McCain. However, a user has sent along a link to a site that promises a much more scientific assessment of morality. "The Morality Test" promises to "assess your moral attitudes, particularly as they relate to your religious and cultural background" with the following reassurance: "there are no right or wrong answers to these questions, and your responses are anonymous, so please be as honest as you can."

So, give it a shot and let us know how it turns out by responding to this idea.

: Whether we like it or not, anyone empowered with as much influence as the president will necessarily serve, at least in part, as a moral leader. So much of our politics involves questions of morality -- what we should and should do or allow others to do -- that in presiding over the executive branch, the President becomes a moral as well as political leader. While issues like the future of the Supreme Court and others that bear on our moral governance have not played prominently in this election yet, they should be on all our minds as we walk into the voting booth come November.
