Well, the Democrats fighting each other may help McCain, but I believe it really will not make much of a difference. I believe John McCain is going to have an uphill fight...at best. First off, if the 2006 elections were any kind of a barometer, McCain is going to be crushed. Second, I believe that America is fed up with republicans. I believe that they will want to see a new party in power for a while. Last, but certainly not least, is the McCains support of the Iraq War. His statement of having to stay in Iraq for 50 years or more could very well be his death sentence, should the opposing candidate bring that issue and quote up.

Also, for the record, I am not opposed to John McCain, but I am supporting everyone but Hillary.

: Gah, I couldn't tell you. I don't even want to comprehend what might happen to me after I die. Personally, I hope either for a "heaven" situation to occur or a reincarnation situation to occur. One thing that scares me to death is the fact that after you die, the thing that makes you "you" does not exist. That all of your memories, your experiences, your emotion, your personality, who you actually are vanishes with the absense of the chemicals in your brain not reacting with one another.

: No, dying is not a bad thing. Death gives humans motivation to live life to its fullest. Without death, life would be hell. Imagine going through your life for 1000 years, or maybe 100000 years. It would be a miserable existence. As far as I am concerned, you only get one ticket on this ride we call life, and you might as well get the most bang for your buck.

: Yes, two parties are enough. Should America change to a many party system, a myriad of problems would occur. First of all, our current dismal turnout of voters would probably drop a sizeable amount. More parties in our political system would confuse the American public, and as a result, voter turnout would be lower than ever. Not many Americans would take the time and energy in order to reasearch the party and its candidates position on political issues. If this lower voter turnout were to occur, then what the country percieves as "majority" would be skewed, because only a select few would actually vote. Second, our current two-party system allows simplicity in voting (to a point), and allows joe or jane on the street to vote for an issue without being an expert on the subject. Finally, if America were to be many party, nothing would get done in Congress! To get a majority (50% + 1) of the senate and the house to vote for a bill would be next to impossible. It would be a gridlock in government. It may not be perfect, but the two party system works.
