 Is this a fair practice?

Should people be made more aware of their tendencies?

Should everyone be assigned someone to pick on to make it fair or should we choose for ourselves?

How Do We Stop Religion From Leaving Society In Ruins http://www.bigthink.com/faith-beliefs/5502 Wars have been waged in the name of the father since the beginning of time.  With greater transportation available now then any other time, there is good reason to believe that this destruction will become more rampant.

What can we do to stop people from living their lives based on a book of stories?

How can we stop this destructive delusion?

Would society be better of living their lives like Robin Hood?    :-)

What Would Robin Hood do?

Religious Freedom: Have We Had Enough Already http://www.bigthink.com/faith-beliefs/5500 It has become aparent that the Bible is a storybook like many others.  Although there are some good moral lessons in the bible there are some destrutive patterns of thinking.  For example, to believe that you can do something wrong and ask for forgiveness, and be forgiven and as good as new, is an abusive and  criminal mentality.

Religous documents like the bible are similar to a coup d 'etat.  The new testament for example took away the power of government to wage war and gave it to these religous power mongers.  This is most obviously presented in the story of Jesus.  God gave his only son so that you can be forgiven for your sins.  In other words, to be like god is to sacrifice yourself and your children for what you believe in?  From there the church would tell you what to believe.  What battles were worth fighting.  It was a successful campaign that has lead people to wage war in the name of the father for thousands of years.

To accept anything as infallible is an error in thinking.  Science will teach you to question everything.  Presenting things like Religion and capitalism as absolutes is an ignorent practice propogated by people who have gained power within these systems.  If we truely want our system to be the strongest we must understand and compensate for these stregths and weaknesses.

Is it time for our leaders to help the people to recongize the stregths and weaknesses of these documents and systems?

What can we do as citizens to make a difference in these areas and insure that the world is a better place for future generations?
