How does one delete a video or other media from one's own page? I uploaded the wrong file that was the wrong (a draft version), and want to replace it with the final version. How does one do this?

I have the same problem.

Further, I understand the "permanent marker" philosophy about ideas, but it would be nice to be able to edit text for formatting or spelling errors, or at least to preview before posting. I missed a word when I copy-pasted a block of text from the malfunctioning comments to an idea page, and now my very first idea makes me look like a dork.

Indeed. I changed a "new idea" to a "response," since I really didn't want to clutter up the number of ideas I posted and, really, I was just responding to my own prompt. It would be lovely to delete anything I enter into the site, given that I created a login and whatnot.

I more than agree. No function to preview, edit, or delete ideas (which function like posts on a blog). Also, no means to delete account. Please communicate and advise us how these basic functions can be corrected.

I am also having a problem with this. I accidentally made something that I meant to be a response into an idea and I now want to delete it and start over (or at least edit it a little).

I'm Brett, a producer here at bigthink. Our original thought was that we wanted to make sure ideas stayed up on the site so that complete conversations could be had sans revision, so people could read the actual ideas of each person. BUT, we now realize that its better to have folks have the ability to revise their ideas as we all make mistakes.
