I'm finding that audio levels are pretty inconsistent. Many of the videos have these pounding musical intros only to be followed by nearly inaudible video content. (And given the probable audience for your site, the disco-backbeat effect may not be the most appropriate.)

It would be great if someone could adjust those levels so that both canned stuff and content are clear and in proportion.

So far you've got quite an interesting site! Keep it up.

I found the same user experience here as well. The AV mix is out of whack, making it not worth checking out the videos until its fixed.

I'm sure this part of the beta factor.

Nice ideas for the site, hope it opens up and becomes more social, more democratic while still smartly edited and curated.

Canned videos from likes of "big" thinkers like Mitt... seem really odd; presidential candidate does not a big thinker make. Witness 43.

I can't stress too strongly how off-putting the musical intros and interspersions are to viewer enjoyment.

NOT WORTH USING . . .UNTIL IT IS FIXED -- listen to those key words.

I don't think that you need music at all in the videos. But if you must, definately not that bombastic beat. Some classical jazz or classical music maybe, or maybe just a voice over stating the topic.

It will be a great site someday, I hope.

along with the audio, you should have brought on a professional producer to set up your camera exposure and lights. many of the interviews are over-exposed and subjects are very red in the face. this isn't created for broadcast and cinema, but good production values in terms of video and audio will help reflect upon a solid idea and product overall.

I agree with jmk7 that there could be a more diverse sampling of music for the clip intros. But I do like the world music beats you are using now, it gives them a cultured feel. You're not going to please everyone is this respect, so I would just try to hit as many genres as possible.

We agree with all points. We'll be changing the music for videos going forward and correcting sound levels as well. We're also color correcting many of the over exposed videos so all guests look like they have a healthy tan rather than a sun burn in need of medical attention. Please keep your comments coming. We really appreciate them!
