These days, most philosophers are well out of the mainstream. This is not good for either philosophy or the mainstream. Perhaps this site is an opportunity to encourage some living philosophers to make their ideas understood outside their own milieu. Brian Massumi? Manuel De Landa? Judith Butler? Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak? Daniel Dennett?

They all have important ideas deserving of wider exposure. They should be welcome additions to this space.

I completely agree. Get them as experts on this site now! lol
