This might sound like a rediculous question but what I want to know is that, is it possible to create a non-money based economy? Not communism, or socialism but a real working functioning economy. If not, than why is our economy based on a currency that has no real value. No longer backed by gold, the US dollar is backed by bonds from the Federal Reserve or future potential profits.
