Google, Stop That Email!

Undo

It used to be that sending an email was like dying. It couldn't be undone. Now gmail is giving us all a second chance.

We've all been in the situation: You accidentally include the wrong person on an email, or send one to the wrong person who just happens to have the same first name. Address bars that fill in automatically are dangerous. So is the "reply" button!

Now there's some good news from the engineers over at Google's Gmail Labs. They've released a new "Undo Send" feature. After you send an email, an "Undo" button pops up for five seconds, allowing you to quickly assess whether you are about to make a huge email mistake.
