Topic: The Aspen Ideas Festival

Bill George: Well I think the Aspen Ideas Festival, which is becoming kind of a summer ______, is a place to bring people together of a widely diverse set of disciplines to talk about important issues.  Nothing gets resolved here, but we at least come together to understand different points of view.  And I think that is so healthy if we can do that.  And people from different nations, different walks of life in the United States can interact in a very informal setting and think openly about what could be done to make things better rather than just criticizing the way things are.
