I am what the collective of my experiences were, I will be what my thoughts, hopes and plans become. I am defined by the limits of my experiences. The biggest challenge in establishing my true identity is not allowing the beliefs of others to influence my self-evaluation. Introspection will always be tainted by some level of previous third party personal assessment - whether casual or deliberate. That said, while I consider myself an articulate, open-minded, well-read and informed individual, I base that definition on a comparison of the people I have previously interacted with - whether interactively or through passive observation.
