Re: I am...

Uploaded on 01/21/2008
The questions in this made me think a lot. I was born in NJ but I was raised in Florida. The south shaped me to hate the south because I have such an open mind. I like to think of myself as a northerner, but in all actuallity I'm more from the south, even though I hate to admit it. My mother was probably the greatest influence even though I didn't see any influence from her till I was older. I looked more to music for comfort and finality than anyone I knew in person. Becoming a musician was an outlet for feeling stifled as a child. I had great parents, but being so different from them, made me more of an outcast in the family circle. (see "black sheep" ha) When I was younger I knew I wanted to be a mother, possibly a foster mom, and also a teacher. I knew I would do something pertaining to kids. Now that I'm an adult, I feel that I can level with a child and be friends with them. Help them. I just want to be part of a childs life. To feel as though I made a difference. I knew that early on. As for "who I am",

"I am the blue-lidded daughter of Sunset; I am the naked brilliance of the voluptuous night-sky"
