how important is your name? and does it define you?

is your name important to you? is it something that defines you that when you ask your slef "who am i?" the first thing that comes up is your name? or is it something that you throw around without meaning or substance that to change it wouldn't take a second thought as if it were interchangeable? to define your slef do you need a long list of complicated long words or to define your slef feels impossible and to try, you come up with only your name?
