Why is language veiled? Individual choice based on "cleverness"

Uploaded on 03/10/2008

Veiled communication/language has much to do with an individuals desire/need to express their "cleverness." Unfortunately, cleverness takes precedence over meaningful language/communication all too often. Aren't we cautiously suspicious of cleverness when we encounter such?

It will sound odd to many, but cleverness is not a positive tool or quality. It is a component of ideas we have been taught or observed/learned to use to manipulate conversations and situations.

Cleverness is a prideful approach and when consciously controlled/diminished an increasingly honest, sincere interaction can result.
