I’m John McCain, United States Senator, Arizona. I come from a military family. I was born in the Panama Canal Zone and lived in different parts of the country, and followed in my family’s tradition of service in the military. And so it shaped me and influenced me by the standards that were instilled in me by my family tradition, and at the Naval Academy, and during 22 years of service in the United States Navy – which are the standards of duty, and honor, and country.
