LIFE & DEATH

What is the reason to measure one's life?

Uploaded on 03/23/2008

As we participate in this existence, what does measuring of what occurs, honestly matter in the final analysis?

Measurement is a tool of historical tracking, and often a distraction from the present. Some humans 'hold onto the past,' 'live in the past,' etc. Of course, we learn from 'the measure of history,' yet are benefited by being cautious of generalizing, justifying or rationalizing what these 'measures' mean. We also gain from a humble realization that our history is not completely understood (nor understandable) leaving us with an in-the-present reality serving as our only true measurement.

Address the moment, with no choice as too prior capabilities, experience or knowledge, yet complete choice as to current application of such.
