LOVE & HAPPINESS

Re: Re: What is happiness?

Wonderful interview with Dan Gilbert. Fascinating question about whether it is possible to BE happy without earning it. I wonder if this is actually a part of ADHD in children: I have long thought that ADHD is a form of sadness, and that it is formed in part from the lack of satisfaction from seeing the results of small jobs around house and farm that children used to perform. The sadness comes from a feeling of a lack of belonging and participation, and is related to this idea that happiness is earned by activity. What do you think?
