I remember when GM workers went on strike late last year. Some of the workers were saying that they might be able to stay out (on strike) for maybe two weeks before they really started to feel the pinch. The writers have been out for far longer than that. My point is, quite obviously I think, that the writers have chosen their profession for the money and nothing else. I have no sympathy for them. Most of the people that I have talked to about the strike view it the same way I do, as a joke. It is typical, whining artists/sportsmen/etc.. wanting more money so they can get back to poisoning our television sets with mind-numbing ooze.
