Re: What is one thing you would change about the American political process?

The electoral process needs to be abolished. It was designed to protect the high levels of government from being decided upon by a populace whom could scarcely read, not to mention the rudimentary communication systems at the time. In today's society, a true direct general election is perfectly reasonable given the public's average level of education and the wealth of information that is at anyone's fingertips.
