All of those things that you mentioned are problems.

 We can only hope that the new generation will have some individuals with the personal bravery to go put their name on the line for what they believe. If a person is honest and has good ideas, people will see this in them and support them. Also, going against the system by striking out on a political venture without the backing of lobbyists and such will strike a rebellious chord in most people. Obviously, this will require financial support, which is why this site or a similar one would be extremely beneficial. If someone on one of these sites were to have some really good ideas about government, he/she may be able to get some people to back them, pool their resources to fund a campaign.
