Due to war and sectarian violence, many Iraqi children have fled their homes and are now living as refugees in neighboring countries or as internally displaced persons in Iraq. These children make up about half of the Iraqi population uprooted from their homes, and there is mounting evidence to suggest that they are receiving little or no education.
